Job description

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with a strong Angular focus for our client's banking project. The project centers on financing processes in retail banking, specifically consumer and framework loans, running across a distributed system landscape of an Angular SPA, Java microservices, REST APIs, and the Camunda process engine.

We're looking for an experienced engineer who can independently own and deliver features end to end, from the Angular frontend through backend services and integrations, and who brings a quality-first mindset including hands-on test automation.

This is a long-term hybrid contract position until the end of 2027, with one day per week on site in Budapest.

Responsibilities

  • Independently design, implement, and deliver features across the Angular frontend and Java backend.

  • Develop and maintain the Angular SPA supporting retail lending processes.

  • Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services within a microservices architecture.

  • Implement and integrate business processes using workflow engines (Camunda).

  • Work across complex end-to-end flows and interfaces in a distributed system landscape.

  • Build and maintain automated tests, including UI, integration, and performance testing.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices.

Job requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an Angular Developer

  • Fullstack expertise with Java and microservices.

  • Experience with REST API integration.

  • Experience in complex system landscapes, including end-to-end flows and interfaces.

  • Experience with at least one workflow engine.

  • Hands-on test automation experience (JMeter, Playwright, Tosca).

  • Ability to independently implement features end to end.
